Depending on the property and room type, the bond amount you pay is different. Y Suites on Waymouth – Ensuite Standard & 8 Bedroom Apartment: Bond amount equals to Two (2) weeks of rent, Y Suites on Waymouth – Studio & 2 Bedroom Apartment: Bond amount equals to Four (4) weeks of rent Once paid, the bond amount will be lodged with the relevant state’s Rental Tenancy Bond Authority. The bond will be held until after you depart from the property. The bond will be returned to you, less any amounts owed to property (including but not limited to rent arrears, departure cleaning or damages done to the leased apartment).
Do I have to be a student to stay at property?
Yes, only students are allowed to stay at property. They are a Purpose-Built Student Accommodation. They welcome all students to stay with them, even if you are doing an internship/placement year or part time course.

If you are staying in a studio apartment and have a temporary guest, they can stay up to three (3) nights for free. Kindly inform their front desk in advance and have the guest register at their reception as part of their security measures. If the guest is looking to stay for more than three (3) nights, contact to management Do note that they are unable to accommodate additional guests for non-studio apartments.

The minimum age to stay at property is 18 years old. Their properties are currently not approved to take in any students under 18 years old.
How do I check in after business hours?
Enquire them at least 2 working days in advance via email should you wish to check in after business hours or on Public Holidays. Their business hours: Y Suites on Waymouth: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm.
What do I need to do before my arrival?
They require you to submit your identification documents, certificate of enrolment and student visa on their guest portal. Refer to your What’s Next email for all necessary actions.

You may pay your rent via two payment methods: 1. Telegraphic transfer via your preferred bank 2. Credit card via their online student portal Depending on the property you are staying, the frequency of rent payment differs.

I have decided to cancel my booking. What are the penalties?
If you need to cancel your booking with them for one of the reasons detailed below, all you need to do is email them at least14 days before your contract start date and they will cancel your booking and provide a refund. They will provide flexibility to cancel if you are impacted by any of the below reasons, you are required to provide supporting documentation: VISA Rejection If your visa application is rejected. Property reserves the right to charge any cancellation after the given deadline.
I have decided to change/defer my booking dates. Is it possible?
Unfortunately, they don’t allow any deferral for their confirmed bookings.
