The management team is fantastic and communicates promptly and are always on top of things from repairs, regular check-ups, hygiene/safety of the facility, to fun events/activities for residents. When there are questions they answer quickly and are very professional. And of course the facility is fantastic. We have the pool, rec area, study rooms, fitness centers, lockers for packages, to green space/trails for dogs. I come out for walks with my dog late night or early morning and feel safe because our community is an enclosed space (locked gates). They take care of both indoor and outdoor areas very nicely (and consistently) so it's just a really beautiful, clean, and safe space to live in general.

This is a really safe, beautiful place to live in Little Italy, especially if you're a student or employee at UIC, Rush, or any of the other facilities here at Chicago's medical district. I feel very comfortable living in a building with so many security features. Additionally, as a student, they have multiple locations in the building to host study groups or study individually (see picture!). Also, as a student, I highly value a quiet atmosphere, and the apartments are truly soundproof between shared walls. And lastly, it's a very clean and modern building with kind, respectful employees!

It’s a perfect apartment to me, a new student in UIC, and I think to all the residents living in the medical district in Chicago as well. I moved here from another place a month ago and SCIO is better because of the excellent facilities, service, people and the community, especially I feel the people here very friendly. SCIO has 24H service in the first floor, including the bright lobby, fitness center, coffee bar, private study room, and the resort-style swimming pool in summer. I am looking forward to experience the swimming pool next summer. In fact, I really like dogs but I have no possible to have one now, so sometimes I very enjoy to watch the cute dogs living here, it’s a sweet life for me here.
