The City of Oxford College is a further education college located in Oxford, England. It comprises two campuses: the City Centre site in the heart of Oxford and the Technology Campus in Blackbird Leys, south of the city.

It was previously known as Oxford and Cherwell Valley College (OCVC), but its name was changed in 2013 when the Oxford and Cherwell Valley College Group was restructured to become the Activate Learning group. The city of Oxford College provides vocational courses, primarily for post-16 students, in a number of fields. Among the programmes available are A Levels, apprenticeships, higher education, abroad study, leisure and adult learning, and programmes to aid the unemployed in returning to work.


The Oxford College of Further Education, founded in 1960 and headquartered at the current Blackbird Leys and Oxford city centre campuses, offered courses to students of all levels. Oxford College of Further Education amalgamated with North Oxfordshire College in Banbury on July 31, 2003, to form Oxford and Cherwell College. In 2005, a new campus was opened in Bicester. The college was renamed Oxford & Cherwell Valley College at this time.

The OCVC Group was reorganised and reconstructed as Activate Learning in 2013. The titles of the two OCVC colleges (Oxford and Banbury) have been altered to City of Oxford College and Banbury and Bicester College, respectively.
