Established in 1096, The University of Oxford, located in Oxford, England, is the oldest University in the English-speaking world and is also regarded as one of the most prestigious universities in the world.  The University of Oxford grew rapidly in 1167 when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris. Then first colleges of Oxford opened during the 13th century, but no female students were allowed until 1878. Even from Paddington station, the train leaves every 5 to 10 minutes to the oxford station and the journey takes almost an hour.

Oxford is 62 miles northwest of London via the M4, M25, M40, and A roads and London is just about an hour and a half away.
