Ealing is located 7.9 miles west of Charing Cross and around 12 miles from the City of London. Although from the 1850s it's been known "Queen of the Suburbs". Before Ealing was an area to the west of London consisting of several small villages in the countryside, Ealing was majorly made up of open countryside, and the main occupation was farming.

Improvement in London ultimately shifted the local economy to major urban development. Ealing, once a rural village is today a cosmopolitan area full of history. During the growth of London in the 20th century, Ealing significantly expanded becoming a municipal borough in 1901 and has become part of Greater London since 1965. It now forms a significant commercial and retail centre with a developed night-time economy because of amazing pubs and restaurants located there and also identified as the major metropolitan centres in the London plan.

Ealing is majorly home to the Sikh community in London and one of the biggest Polish communities in the capital, the diverse population makes it a fascinating place to stay in Ealing. There are some amazing places in Ealing which make it the best place to live. Ealing Studios is one of the world's oldest studios still in production and has made some of the most famous British comedies; you might get lots of opportunities to spot celebrities there!

- Ealing Broadway is served by the District and Circle Line and plenty of bus routes too.

- West Ealing (Zone 3) is also serviced by a train station with services to Paddington. 

- If you have conveyance,  Ealing is moments away from the A40, meaning a trip to Oxford is a little over an hour away. 

  Heathrow airport is easily accessible by vehicle.
