The University of Warwick, also known as Warw is a public research university located on the border of Coventry between Warwickshire and the West Midlands. Established in the year 1965, the University of Warwick was born as a context of the government initiative to expand higher education. The university houses- Warwick Business School which was founded in 1967, Warwick Law School which was established in the year 1968, Warwick Manufacturing Group ( WMG) founded in the year 1980, and Warwick Medical School was inaugurated in the year 2000. In addition to this, Warwick University also incorporated Coventry College of Education and Horticulture Research International in the year 1979 and 2004 respectively.

Spread across 720 acres, the University of Warwick currently caters to a total of 25,000 students. Organised into four faculties- Medicine, Science, Arts and Social Science, the University offers a range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
