Seville has an excellent transport system, and our student accommodation El Porvenir has easy access to all of the public transport stops.
Metro
Seville has one metro line with 22 stations, and construction is currently underway on three additional lines. Although the metro stops are located here, the line's primary purpose is to link you to Seville's suburbs. The cost of a one-way trip begins at €1.35, and further details are available here.
Tram (Metro-Centro)
The 1.4-kilometre Metro-Centro tram route runs through the heart of Seville. Plaza Nueva and Avenida de la Constitución are connected by the tram (near the cathedral). The tram stops at Archivo de Indias, Puerta de Jerez, San Sebastián, and San Bernardo.
Bus
Bus service is very extensive in Seville. Most buses leave from Plaza Ponce de Leon or Puerta de Jeres (south of the city centre) (east of the city centre). The Plaza de las Armas serves primarily as a bus terminal for passengers travelling to other Spanish towns; local buses leave from the Prado de San Sebastián bus terminal. Tickets for buses can be purchased from the driver (starting at €1.30) or from a kiosk.
