Getting around Seville is an easy task, unlike other big metropolitan cities there are no complex routes or ways to get around the city. Despite the city's metro, buses, taxis, and other modes of public transportation, locals and students prefer walking because everything is within easy walking distance. Even bicycles are a popular means of transportation around this “architectural gem” city.
Metro
The Seville metro system has been progressing for several years. With one metro line in works,
students and locals take the metro when travelling to the outskirts of the city. An average metro ticket will cost you around €1.80. You can also use daily passes that can give you unlimited rides on the metro.
Bicycles
As mentioned above bicycles are one of the most favourable ways to move around the city. There are bicycle tracks across Seville specially designed for easy moving traffic and bikers safety. Moreover, the city also has a special bicycle program “Sevici” to help cut down carbon footprint and traffic congestion.
Buses
Buses also help to balance the transportation system in the city, they usually run around 6am to 12am and cost merely around €1.40.
