Winters are mild. The coldest months of the year are December and January, with average maximum temperatures of 16 to 17 °C.

Seville, initially a town in Iberian, flourished as Hispalis under the Romans starting in the second century BCE and served as the provincial capital of Baetica. Early in the 5th century C.E., the Silingi Vandals named it their country's capital, but in 461, it came under Visigothic control. Today, Seville is renowned for its architecture and Flamenco dance worldwide.

The city is best known for its rich history, cultural heritage, monuments and festivals. Seville has three of UNESCO's world heritage sites: the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of Indies. Other than these heritage sites in Seville, there are many other attractions like St Mary Cathedral, La Giralda, The Church of Saint Louis of France, Torre del Oro, Museum of Fine Arts of Seville etc.

Apart from this, this city's culture is one of a kind. Seville is the birthplace of some of Spain's most well-known customs, including bullfighting and flamenco dancing.
