The deposit totals the equivalent of one month’s rent. Each tenant will typically pay a £100 holding deposit to secure the property. The balance of the deposit is then paid within four weeks.
All students require a UK guarantor if they wish to make monthly payments. If they are unable to provide this then there are options to pay all of the rent in advance.
Security Deposit (per tenancy) -Five weeks’ rent- This covers damages or defaults on the part of the tenant during the tenancy.
The deposit totals the equivalent of one months rent. Each tenant will typically pay a 100 holding deposit to secure the property. The balance of the deposit is then paid within four weeks. All deposits are registered with a professional deposit scheme and tenants will be provided with a certificate to show the total held and the scheme it is held under. The deposit is held until the end of the tenancy and is returned subject to a check-out inspection and dependent on any damage caused or cleaning required.
