Located on the West side of Dearborn Street, North of Oak Street and one block East of Clark Street<br><br>Directions to Dearborn Plaza: From the North & Northwest, head towards Chicago on the Kennedy Expressway (Interstate 90). From the West or South, head towards Chicago on the Dan Ryan. Exit at Ohio Street East. Cross the bridge and continue for a few blocks to LaSalle Street and make a left. Continue heading North on LaSalle for almost a mile to Oak Street and make a right. Travel two blocks to Dearborn Street and make a left. Dearborn Plaza Apartments is located on the left side of the street at 1030 N Dearborn. To get back to the highway, go South on Dearborn and make a right on Oak Street. After two blocks, make a left on LaSalle Street. Continue South on LaSalle to Ontario Street and make a right. (This is a change from Ohio Street because they are both one-way streets heading in opposite directions.) Stay on Ontario street for about a mile. The left and center lanes head to the Kennedy North, while the right lane heads to the Dan Ryan South.

What is the management doing at my community to respond to COVID-19?

Our management has a dedicated team focused on staying informed as this pandemic frequently changes. We are relying on updates and recommendations from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) to guide us in responding to concerns at our communities and in our offices. We are focused on the well-being of our residents and teams and trying to make good decisions with the information available to us.

Are there any known cases of the Coronavirus at my community?

We know this is a trying time with a lot of uncertainty. Residents are not required to disclose their medical information with us, and we cant ask; so, we really do not know for certain. If you think that you or someone you know has the Coronavirus, please contact your local health officials and/or the CDC . A lot of residents will self-quarantine without telling us, so it is a best practice to limit interactions with everyone as part of social distancing. If we are notified of a confirmed case of Coronavirus at our community, we will communicate it to our residents via email and follow the recommendations of the CDC on quarantine protocol.

What is your team doing to prevent the spread of illness?

Masks are required of everyone while on our communities. This includes hallways, outside, amenity spaces and our leasing offices. We have established cleaning standards of our office and amenity spaces according to CDC recommendations. Social distancing reminders are visible throughout our offices. We have limited the capacity of our amenity spaces as advised by local authorities and have suspended resident activities to discourage large gatherings. Our employees follow a daily health screening routine and are not allowed to come to work with a fever, flu-like symptoms or if they have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 during the past 14 days. All employees are required to wear a mask while working and must wash their hands frequently throughout the day. We reserve the right to adjust office hours, capacity and staffing at any time without notice, as well as any of the procedures outlined above, during this time and appreciate your patience as we do our part to minimize the spread.

How are maintenance requests being handled?

Once you are moved in, you may have some minor maintenance needs. We recommend that you submit your request via the Resident Portal on your community's website, but you are also welcomed to call the leasing office and submit your request to a member of the local team. We appreciate your patience as we typically see a higher volume of requests during the initial move-in process as residents get  settled into their home.

is anything changing with my move-in schedule?

Move-in schedules vary across our portfolio of communities; however, you should be receiving an email with specific instructions regarding your community's move-in schedule. Feel free to contact your leasing office if you have questions. All Peak Campus communities will be conducting a contact-less move-in experience, so it is very important that each resident honor the move-in time that has been provided. All paperwork and payments must be completed in advance to move-in.

How many people can help me move-in?

To respect social distancing and minimize the crowd sizes, each resident is allowed one person to help on your scheduled move-in day.

What if a resident is under quarantine when scheduled to move in?

We hope this does not happen but if any incoming resident must quarantine for any reason, they can elect to delay your move-in. Please understand that we cannot prevent a resident from taking occupancy of their unit. Health advice is to quarantine in their home, and once the lease begins in that home. 

Can I store my bags there before I check-in or after I check-out?

Definitely! guides can arrange to hold your luggage for up to 24 hours before or after your stay.

How late can I check in?

They're available 24 hours to check you in, just be sure to give us a call beforehand so we can expect you!

Can I check in early?

They cannot guarantee check in before 3:00pm, but feel free to give us a call and if the room is ready, youre in!

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in starts at 3:00pm, check out is at 11am.

I want to explore the city but I have never been there before. Can someone help me with information?

I am traveling alone, will I feel out of place ?

We strive to provide all guests with the opportunity to socialize, whether its at one of our events, or in our communal spaces, its never been easier to meet like-minded travelers.

How old do I need to be to book a room?

Guests must be 18 years or older to book with us with the exception of our Dupont Circle Embassy Inn by location where guests must be 21 and older to book. For security reasons, A valid ID will need to be shown at check-in.

Do you offer Wifi?

Yes! All of  locations are equipped with High-Speed Wifi.

What does a shared room mean?

Shared rooms are dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds. Guests will each get their own bunk as well as locker storage to store personal belongings. Be sure to bring a lock with you to use with your locker. Locks can also be purchased from the guide stand if needed.

What does a private room mean?

Private rooms include a private bedroom and bathroom ensuite.

Will my room have a bathroom?

Yes, all rooms (private and shared) have their own bathroom.

Where do I park?

There are parking lots and garages nearby as well as street parking where available. Prices vary. Due to the nature of the cities we are in, we do not have valet or onsite parking.

Do you have a big lobby where I can meet or work?
