Pearl’s Hill is a fantastic student accommodation in Rocher, which 12-story tall building encompassing 336 fully furnished one and two-bedroom apartments. It is an 18-minute drive from the National University of Singapore and a 30-minute one from Nanyang Technological University to the accommodation.

The property is located on top of the hill which gives you an unobstructed view of the lush greenery. It gives you the option to choose from 2 bedroom twin sharing and a one-bedroom twin-sharing apartment. The 2 bedroom apartment provides you with 2 beds in each room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The rooms come with 2 wardrobes and 2 study tables. The one-bedroom twin sharing is a single room with 2 single beds, 2 wardrobes, and 2 study tables along with a shared bathroom and kitchen. All the apartments are air-conditioned and the rent is inclusive of the utility bills. The property has free high-speed wi-fi, a basketball court, a gym, and a sensory garden.

The neighborhood around Chinatown is rich in culture and history, which makes it popular among tourists. Yes, they welcome students from all educational institutions with relevant passes. Please check in with the management or marketing team for more information.

What are the documents required to process my booking of accommodation?

You will have to provide us with your passport, In-Principle Approval letter (IPA) or letter of Offer/Acceptance from the educational institution you are enrolled in, or the student pass issued to you by the relevant authority.

Are there any age limit requirement to be eligible for stay?

No. Only Parents or legal guardians are required to sign the License (Tenancy) Agreement on behalf of students under the age of 18 years old

Are there any administrative charges for bookings?

No. There are no administrative charges for bookings. However, there is a one-time administrative fee payable upon check-in. Please check in with the management for more information

How much does the first down payment cost?

Only 1 months security deposit (refundable at the end of the stay) and 1 months advance rental fee is payable upon or prior to check-in.

Can I visit the hostels in person before confirming my booking?

Yes, you can visit our hostels prior to confirming your intended booking. Viewing, however, is subjected to availability of vacant rooms.

How can I make payment for bookings or reservations (in Singapore) or monthly rentals payable?

Payment can be made at Management Office from Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Can I cancel my booking or reservation?

Student will need to pay Booking fee when they make their booking via our website. Booking fee is non refundable if they did not turn up for their check-in. Security Deposit will only be forfeited if they break lease after signing of contract.

Can I amend my booking or reservation details after payment has been made?

Yes, however, this is subjected to managements approval and to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Can I request for a change of unit allocated during my stay?

Yes, you may submit your request to Management Office and it is subject to availability. An administration fee of SGD150.00 (before 7% Goods & Services Tax) is payable.

Am I able to select the unit for my stay?

Yes, you may submit your request to the Management Office. However, this is subjected to availability of vacant rooms. An administration fee of SGD50.00 (before 7% GST) is payable.

If the contract signed is only applicable for a period of six months, am I able to extend my stay after?

Yes. Please inform the management at least 2 months before the lease ends.

Are there attached bathroom(s) for each unit?

Each hostel site has varying room amenities.

Are the female and male rooms separated by levels?

No. However, female and male hostelites are housed in separated rooms.

Can I choose to stay in an all-females or all-males room?

It is hostel policy to ensure female and male hostelites are allocated for stay in separate rooms.

Can I cook at the hostel?

Yes, you are allowed to do light cooking at the common pantry area, using only the microwave and induction cooker provided.

What are the facilities or appliances available in the pantry area?

Hot or cold water dispenser, induction cooker and microwave are provided.

Can I put a refrigerator in my room?

Shared refrigerators are available in the common pantry area. Hence, hostelites are not allowed to have their own personal refrigerator separately placed in their rooms.

Are there laundry services available? And is it included in the monthly rental?

They have washing machines and dryers available on a pay-per-use basis. The charges are not included in the monthly rental.

Is the Internet access included in the monthly rental?

Yes, Internet access is included in the monthly rental and available for the hostelites use.

Are bedding set and pillows provided?

No, bedding set and pillows are not provided.

Is there a specific timing of which hostelites must return back to the hostel?

No. There is no specific timing or curfew imposed on our hostelites.

Can I bring visitors to my unit?

You are able to bring visitors back to the hostel. However, they are only allowed into the common area of the hostel. Please note that visitors are not allowed to enter the rooms at all times and they will need to register at the security post before entering the hostel premises. They will be required to leave the hostel premises by 10.00pm latest.
