    For AY 25-26 & AY 26-27: 1. The deposit amount varies depending on the property. To find the specific cost for your chosen room, please refer to the Contracts section under the Tenancy Price on the room page. 2. Once paid, your deposit is protected by a government-approved deposit protection scheme for the duration of your tenancy. Please note that this deposit cannot be used towards your rent instalments. 3. At the end of your tenancy, the deposit will be returned to you: subject to the terms of your contract, after a room inspection. Any deductions for damages or outstanding charges will be outlined in your tenancy agreement. Refunds can take up to 28 working days to process. 4. Your deposit is securely held by a recognised scheme, such as the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (England and Wales) or Safe Deposits Scotland.     Additional Fees

    For AY 25-26 & AY 26-27: Dual occupancy is available for most rooms that are 23sqm or larger. Both applicants must apply separately and clearly state in their applications that they are requesting dual occupancy.The total rent will be calculated as the standard room rate plus an additional £50 per week, then split evenly between both occupants, unless specified otherwise.

    Does my rental price include car parking?

    On-site car parking is available at some properties, but is not included within the rental price unless explicitly stated and confirmed in writing. Payments for car parking permits are separate to your tenancy agreement. Please speak to the property team if you wish to purchase a car parking space.     Can I book if I’m under 18?

    If you turn 18 in the first semester of university, they can accept your booking at properties where there is 24/7 security available and have an adult over the age of 18 must be a co-signatory on your tenancy agreement and must accept the terms of it.
