Rent payments are accepted only every month. Students can no longer pay more than one month's rent upfront. The rent is payable monthly on or before the due date.

A UK resident guarantor is required to rent the property. The guarantor must: Live in the UK. Have an annual income of approximately 3 times the annual rent. The contract with the guarantor company must be arranged directly by the student.
A £50 fee applies for each requested tenancy amendment. If the work involved exceeds £50, reasonable additional costs may apply. Tenancy amendments may include: Change in occupier. Adding or removing a clause in the tenancy. Obtaining permission from the landlord. Late payment charges apply for rent payments more than 14 days overdue. Late payment charge is calculated at 3% above the Bank of England annual percentage rate for each day the payment remains outstanding.
