You are required to pay a security deposit equivalent to 5 weeks rent (where the annual rent is less than £50000). This deposit is held and protected by Finns, the properties letting agent, and is to cover any damages, cleaning charges, rent arrears or other charges that arise or are overdue on your account which are your responsibility when you vacate your studio.
