Founded in 1891. Goldsmiths, University is a public research university located in London. The University was initially established as the Goldsmiths Technical and Recreative Institute by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in London. The University of London acquired it in 1904 and renamed it as Goldsmiths' College.
