It's been 2 weeks since I arrived in Melbourne, and Unilodge Park Avenue is my new home now. Firstly, talking about the room, my room is very spacious, has a modern kitchenette with the necessary equipment (refrigerator, cooktop, dishwasher), and also comes with inbuilt cupboards. There are a variety of other room options available too, just need to pick your according to your preference. The environment is quite nice, surrounded by greenery, and also has a gym(so no need to get an extra membership outside😀). People are very nice and friendly, and I quickly made a few friends too… The reception staff is very friendly and always ready to answer and help with any of our queries. Even when the reception is closed, we can all an RA for emergency help. There are even weekly events where we get to socialise with other neighbours which helps you get to know new people. Overall, I am very comfortable here and I just knock on the reception with all my problems and they always have a suggestion for that.

I have been a resident for around 2 years now. The location is something I loved. Having it just out of reach of the busier areas but just close and convenient enough to take one tram immediately outside into the heart of the CBD. The management and staff are amazing as well. Taking parcels; communicating well; easy to approach; friendly; and generally outstanding. The facilities were plentiful as well. In regards to my experience, the rooms came with a TV and aircon fitted in a clean, modern and minimalist room. Amenities included a theatre room to watch movies with your friends; 10 sets of washers and dryers; a gym; communal spaces; fast and reliable internet; study spaces; and even bike parking. Other than that they also have events, free food and drinks, and everything is cleaned daily. They care about the residents and it all makes up for a relaxing experience. In terms of negatives, I would say there is no car parking and that's about it really.
