Train
Dublin is served by DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit). The DART line runs from Malahide or Howth in North Dublin south to Greystones in County Wicklow. Irish Rail, Ireland's publicly-owned railway operator, provides services.
Trams
The tram system in Dublin is known as 'Luas', which means speed in Irish. Green and Red lines serve many areas of Central Dublin and some residential areas, primarily in the city's south and southwest.
