On the day you move in, youll need to bring along kitchen items, bedding, clothing and any personal items to make you feel at home. Be sure to bring some form of ID with you, too.

Is there somewhere to park when I arrive?

Yes, the roads nearby to the property are free of charge up to a maximum of two hours, so you can drop off your things in front of the residence.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Do I have to be a student to live here?

To live here you must be a student, enrolled in a college or university, and be 18 years or older at the time of check-in.

Do I need to have a UK guarantor?

We only require a UK guarantor if youve requested to pay in instalments. Without one, the full amount of your rent has to be paid in August.

Sure, all of this propertys residents have their own letterbox and will be given a key to check their post at any time. If you have a parcel delivered, reception will look after it, just be sure to bring your ID with you upon collection.

Is there somewhere to keep my bike?

Absolutely, theres lots of secure bike storage areas for you to use.

What will I need to do before I move out of my room?

Pack up all your belongings and give the room a clean itd be lovely if you left in the same condition as you found it. Once thats done, hand over your fob and post box key, say your goodbyes, and be sure to have a great summer.

Will I be sharing a room?

Unless youre staying in a gold studio room for dual occupancy, all our other rooms are single occupancy.

Who is responsible for cleaning my apartment?

You and your housemates are. Its helpful to have a cleaning rota in place from the beginning. You can bring your rubbish/recycling to the bin stores and all collections are included in your rent. You can also share the cost for a cleaner to do the job for you.

Who cleans the communal areas?

The team will take care of cleaning these areas, but please be sure to look after them as much as possible.

Where can I smoke?

Our building and grounds are non-smoking, but smokers are welcome to smoke outside of the building off-site.

Can I choose what floor I live on?

Yep, its entirely up to you just let us know what youd prefer at the time of booking.

Can family and friends visit?

Of course, theyre welcome to come and see you throughout your studies. However, only one guest is allowed to stay in your room for a maximum of 3 nights a week. And, you must be with them the entire duration of their stay and sign them in on arrival.

Who is responsible for a guest while theyre on the premises?

During their visit, you are responsible for your guest they must be signed in/out and follow all regulations while theyre here.

Can we have a party?

Go for it, but please consider your fellow residents living in the building, and give the apartment a clean once youre finished.

Do I have Wi-Fi?

Indeed, it will. With our standard package you will get free up to 70MB/s high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi connection throughout the building, including bedrooms; however, this fluctuates in usage. If youre looking for an even speedier and more stable service, you can use our ethernet connection available in your room. You can connect up to 3 devices, so its perfect for browsing Instagram, watching your favourite Netflix series and studying of course! The Internet is provided by our reliable partner, Ask4 and they give you the option to upgrade your bandwidth package for a small fee, if you need extra speed for those gaming nights.

Is a TV provided?

The propertys main common room has a TV, but you can bring one along for your own room or the shared lounge/dining area, just be sure to get a TV Licence before your Netflix sessions.

What kitchen equipment is supplied?

In the Cam Foundrys apartments and townhouses, youll find a toaster, kettle, hob and oven/microwave, along with a fridge/freezer and plenty of storage for your pots and pans. Well provide you with a mop and bucket, dustpan and brush, and an iron and ironing board. Be sure to bring along your own utensils, dishes, pots/pans and other small appliances we dont supply these.

Can I keep a fridge in my room?

Sorry, unless its for storing prescribed medication, we dont allow you to keep fridges in your own room.

What about bedding?

Be sure to bring your own bedding with you we wouldnt want you leaving that extra comfy pillow at home.

How do the laundry facilities work?

Youll top up a laundry card or sign up to an app with your PayPal account that you can then use to operate our washers and dryers.

Can I personalise my room?

Yeah, of course. Its your room, so make yourself at home! But be sure to return the room to us in good condition, as you may be charged for any damages you incurred through term time.

Can I pay my rent monthly?

Rent is usually paid through 3 instalments over the year, but feel free to talk to your Accommodation Manager, as you may be able to pay by other means depending on your circumstances.

Can I stay in my room over Easter/Christmas breaks, etc?

You can your room is yours to stay in from the start of the tenancy agreement.

Can I move in before my tenancy starts?

Sorry, this isnt possible right now.

Can I change my tenancy dates to work around my University start and end dates?

Once the dates of your tenancy are set, they cannot be change.
