Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book?
Simply click the book button on the room type you want, you can then follow the instructions on the screen to secure your room. If you have any issues or questions, please get in touch with the Residence Team at your chosen location.
Can I choose a certain room?
Absolutely! You can choose the floor, flat and room numbers should you wish to. Our Residence Teams can advise you on the best room to suit your needs.
Can we book as a group?
Of course. For locations with cluster flats, booking with your friends can easily be arranged. You just need to let us know who you want to live with and we can do our best to put you together. Please note, this is subject to availability and more likely to be possible the sooner you book.
How do I find out who I am living with?
When booking your room you can see your flatmates’ gender, what year they’re in and where they’re studying. We don’t give out names for data protection, but you can always get in touch with the Residence Team to find out where you can join the resident’s chat to give you a chance to meet people virtually before you move in.
When can I move in?
Around four weeks before the big day, you will be invited to book a move-in slot. You can choose the time that works best for you. If you have specific needs around accessibility or travel arrangements, please let us know at this stage.
What deposit do I need?
Unlike other providers, we do not ask for a deposit to secure your booking. We do, however, require an advance rent payment which will be deducted from your first rent instalment (think of it like a present to yourself when September rolls around!).
What is the cancellation policy?
We work on a 5 day “cooling off” period. This means that should you need to, you can cancel your booking within 5 days of signing your tenancy agreement, as long as you have not yet moved in.
If you need to cancel after the “cooling off” period, we’ll allow it in certain circumstances, like if your UK visa is refused or you don’t make the grades for your chosen university. Just make sure to send us your UCAS notification or visa refusal documentation within 72 hours of receiving it.
You can also transfer your obligations to someone else if you find a replacement tenant who’s eligible to live in the property. We’ll need to run some checks to confirm their eligibility, but once everything’s in order, they’ll take over the tenancy agreement.
How do I book a viewing online?
Simply contact the Residence Team via our contact form to make a viewing appointment. You will receive a confirmation email if the viewing time is confirmed.
What if I have additional needs?
We have permanent accessible and temporary adaptable access rooms available to suit your needs. For more information about these rooms, please contact the site teams directly.

All studios come with a small fridge with a freezer compartment.
Can I bring my rice cooker/electric pressure cooker?
