Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book over the phone?

Yes, absolutely! You will receive detailed assistance with property selection and booking. For more information, feel free to get in touch with the Amber agent.

Can I view your rooms?

Yes, of course! You can arrange a time to come for a viewing here. One of their lovely site team members will be able to show you around.

Who is eligible to book with the management?

Any full time student can live with property. If you are unsure as to whether you quality please call them on the relevant reception number to discuss your situation.

If I am doing an internship / placement year, am I allowed to live in the property?

As long as you are still registered as a full time student and your placement is part of your degree/course then yes, you can still live with management during the academic year. Outside of the academic term, some of their properties are able to accommodate non-students and part time students on a short term basis so do get in touch if this is something you require.

Can I make special requests on my application such as living in an all-female flat?

Yes. On their online application you will find a section for additional information. In this section you can state any such special requests. Although they are not able to guarantee every request as it does depend on specific requests, the number of people making requests and the fact that they do not actually allocate rooms until a few weeks before tenancy start they do try their best to make sure as many requests as possible are met. However in the vast majority of cases, they are usually able to successfully accommodate requests such as same gender, postgraduate or undergraduate flats. Its a good idea to contact sites to discuss.

Are the room pictures on the website of the exact room I would receive?

The room pictures on the website are only indicative of the room type and not of the actual room you may be allocated. The reason for this is firstly they have so many rooms across the country, that it is not possible to put an image of every single room. Secondly, they receive many room preference requests from students i.e. female only, postgraduates only etc that they must wait until close to check in to allocate an exact room to make sure they do their best to meet resident requests. However you will of course be allocated the room type you have selected.

Will I get a chance to meet new people and make friends at property?

Yes, definitely! They run an extensive events calendar across all their sites. An aim of this program is to allow residents to meet each other and make new friends.

What is your insurance policy?

By partnering with Endsleigh, the No.1 student insurance provider, they’ve arranged contents insurance for all their students staying with them for free! It is important all students confirm their cover to ensure you understand what is and isn’t covered.

Which bills are included?

Is there parking provided?

Unfortunately, they are not able to provide parking at their sites. However, there are on street and off streat options available near all of their sites.

I have absolutely no complaints about this accommodation. I thought they were consistently brilliant throughout my stay and consequently, I would thoroughly recommend considering staying here if you are looking for student accommodation in London. Management. The staff were incredibly hard working and seemed to consistently display a professional and pleasant attitude, being friendly and approachable. Room facilities. I stayed in a premium studio and was incredibly happy with the space and facilities. The room was clean, the kitchen area had a reasonable space dedicated to it and was easy to use. I was very pleased with my en-suite as well which was very reasonably sized. The bed, wardrobe, and desk were all exactly as I had hoped. The stay contains many facilities including a gym, clothes washing facilities, bike storage, a ground-floor communal area, a games room, a study room, a communal kitchen, and a roof garden with a view of Tottenham. I found the location perfect as it gave me the distance I needed from the city while still feeling like a part of everything; a definitive suburb in many ways.

I'm not originally from the UK. This is my first home in the country. It's close to supermarkets, so groceries aren't a problem at all. It's right next to a police station which gives me assurance that it is safe at some point. Despite the busy surroundings, with the windows shut, there is minimal noise coming from outside which is good. I don't like sharing bathrooms so having my own bathroom in the flat is a plus. There is also a small kitchen inside the flat, where heating and cooking is possible. There is a gym, which is a plus for those who don't want to pay for any gym memberships. There is centralized heating and room temp can be adjusted. They are very understanding when it comes to rent payments and will consider your preference in terms of when payments can be made. Over all, everyone at the stay clearly doing the best they can to a keep this building comfortable for us residents, they listen to suggestions and you can speak to them about any concerns you have and they will try to help you. This is a clean new place. I have been enjoying my stay here so far.

I enjoy staying in the accommodation provided by the property. What I like most about them is that their study and kitchen area are thoughtfully designed for students because there are many cabinets, which allows me to allocate my things properly and be able to study in a comfortable environment. The lights are bright enough and bring out a more lively atmosphere. Security and safety information are told on the first day of moving in. Facilities are great, especially the lift is always fast. Staff are helpful and care a lot for students' stay. They also give out information very quickly to make sure we don't miss out on any new updates.

The staff here would host Get To Know events and certain holiday events. These events make people feel even more welcome and provide an opportunity to make acquaintance with other people who live in the building. Highly recommend. About the location and the housing itself. It is a great location to get to NMUH, there are buses within walking distance of 1 minute, overground trains within walking distance of 5 minutes at Bruce Groove, and only about 15-18 minutes to Central London at Victoria Line station. The walking distance is about 30 minutes to NMUH. Shops are all within walking distance, plenty of places to eat and shop.
