Intro

Set in the heart of Hatfield, Luna is just a four-minute walk from The University of Hertfordshires De Havilland Campus and 25-minute train to central London, making it the ideal option for Hatfields large student population. The apartments are fitted with double beds, under-bed storage space and ensuite bathrooms, while the range of social spaces play host to regular nights, socials and student events.

Surrounded by the lush green countryside of Hertfordshire, but still within half an hour of Central London, Luna offers the best of both worlds. A vibrant, modern town with a rich aerospace heritage and a well-respected educational establishment. As winners of the gold teaching excellence award, the University of Hertfordshire was among the top 50 best UK universities chosen by major employers for producing ready-to-work graduates and ranked in the top 2 universities in the East of England for employability. Together with London on its doorstep, Hatfields choice of restaurants, bars and nightlife, makes it one of the top student destinations.

Will the fire alarm go off when I cook?

The extractor hood should always be used when cooking to help prevent smoke and steam from activating the fire alarm. The hood has a light and three speed settings, which can be selected by pressing the buttons on the front. In addition, a ceiling fan above the kitchen area provides fresh air into the flat, so use that when cooking, as well as the boost switch to extract any fumes you can do this by pressing the fan boost button and you should air your room by opening your window.

Can we have a mini fridge in our room?

We would not recommend doing so as there is sufficient fridge space available within your Fridge. If you bring any appliances you must ensure that these comply with the EU regulations (EU/EC European Plugs only).

Do the windows open?

Yes, all windows are openable and all rooms include sufficient ventilation (air cooling system).

However every window has a restrictor on it. If you are on the ground floor, this is to ensure that no one can enter your apartment when the window is open. If you are higher up, the restrictor is in place for your own safety, so you cant fall out of an open window. Your safety is our priority.

We have provided you with 40 50 smart TVs depending on your room type, with 40 channels (40 in bedrooms , 42 in linked studio Kitchens and 50 in apartments Kitchens).
