A security deposit equal to 2 weeks' rent is required at the time of signing the agreement. The security deposit is held as security against damage beyond fair wear and tear, unpaid occupancy fees, cleaning charges, or any other lawful charges under the agreement. The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days after the resident vacates the property, provided no deductions are required. If deductions equal or exceed the security deposit, the property may retain the entire deposit. For refunds made to an international bank account, a $50 administration fee applies.

Rent can be paid weekly or fortnightly.

Late lockout fee: $95 if assistance is available. Replacement key fee: $95. Lockout call-out fee: $150 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). After-hours lockout call-out fee: $300. Overnight guest fee: $50 per calendar week. Professional cleaning fee after gatherings: $150. Routine cleaning fee: $150 if cleaning requirements are not met. Smoking deodorisation fee: $200–$600. Fire brigade charges: Up to $1,500 where applicable. Late check-out fee: $50. Cleaning fee on departure: $150 per hour (minimum $150) if the room is not cleaned to the required standard. Removal fee: $250 per hour (minimum $250) for belongings left behind.
