Though the town of Lincoln is small, it is very well connected thanks to the extensive public transport network spread throughout the city. Students can avail of these facilities to travel daily to the university from their student housing near Bishop Grosseteste University and wherever they wish to go in the city.
1. Bus
Lincoln Central Bus Station is a contemporary transportation hub with indoor seats, a cafe, and public restrooms. It is situated directly across from Lincoln Central Train Station. There is a bus stop close to the BGU campus on Newport/Broadway, from which you may get there. The trip will last roughly 15 minutes, and a single ticket won't set you back more than £5.
2. Rail/Train
Lincoln has just one train station called Lincoln Central, and it's conveniently situated between the city's High Street and Central Bus Station. Taxis are readily available outside Lincoln train station, and fares to the BGU campus range from £5.00 to £10.00. Your fare might depend on what time of the day you avail the taxi.
3. Cycling
Students can even cycle to the university campus, as there is a facility for bikes to rent on a daily basis. Be sure that your accommodation is at a convenient location to use this mode of transport.
