The five physical campuses of Griffith University are spread across three South East Queensland cities: the Gold Coast, Logan, Mt. Gravatt, Nathan, and South Bank. The most ancient educational facility at Griffith was Nathan, which debuted in 1975 with a class of 451 students. More than 13,000 students are currently enrolled on the campus, who are pursuing degrees in business and government, engineering and information technology, the environment, humanities and languages, law, science, and aviation. This is almost 50 years after the campus first opened. They conduct top-notch teaching and research on the environment, corporate sustainability, Asian studies, and the burgeoning biosciences at our Nathan campus. This area houses the recently finished, cutting-edge Engineering, Technology, and Aviation building as well as the six-star, green-rated Sir Samuel Griffith Centre, Australia’s first teaching and research building powered by solar energy and hydrogen energy. With more than 200 degrees and a track record of superior research and instruction, Griffith is still a top university of choice. Griffith is a highly regarded young university, coming in at number 33 in both the 2021 QS World University Rankings Top 50 Under 50 and the 2022 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings. Due to their youth, they are able to respect tradition without being constrained by it, which gives them the adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of students, businesses, and the community. They have introduced Australia’s first degrees in a variety of significant fields, including forensic science, Asian studies, and environmental science. They also embraced online learning quickly and have provided options for online study for almost 20 years.
