Established in 1964, Macquarie University is a public research university located in the suburb of Macquarie Park in Sydney, Australia. Endowed by the New South Wales Government through the passage of the Macquarie University Act 1964, the Macquarie University was the third University to be instituted in the metropolitan area of Sydney.
