Student Life In Osbalwick

This tranquil neighbourhood on the outskirts of York offers a peaceful retreat from the commotion of the City and the campus. Tragically, this indicates that Osbaldwick is located in the middle of nowhere. You won't experience any difficulties if you own a car or a bicycle (both of which have plenty of parking). However, getting to lectures and house parties becomes a little more difficult if you depend on those two enormous limbs hanging below your body for mobility. The two neighbouring stores meet your basic requirements, and there is even a B&Q close by for any last-minute DIY projects that come up. Other tiny neighbourhood businesses include a fish and chip store and a hair salon.

Other than that, nothing much really occurs there. Even the neighbourhood kids don't pose a threat. The locals are warm and accommodating. The distance between Hes East and West campuses is about ten minutes, and it takes twice as long to get into town. The Number 20 bus travels to Heslington Hall and the shopping centres Clifton Moore and Monks Cross, whereas the Number 6 bus travels past Osbaldwick to Hes East and into town. You can also take a free Unibus No. 4 or 44 to the Hes West campus after walking to Hes East.
