Does this property have an Application fee?

No. There are no application fees.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure the booking?

Yes. To secure the apartment the tenant must pay 2 weeks rent plus cost of a mattress protector and shower curtain (if applicable). A Bond is payable, equivalent to 4 weeks rent if AU$800.00/ week or less or if AU$801/week or more is equivalent to 6 weeks rent, and is payable to the State Government Authority. In Adelaide, the authority is the Residential Tenancies Fund.

Is there a cancellation fee once I have secured an apartment?

Yes there is a cancellation fee equivalent to 2 weeks rent.

Are car parking spaces available?

Sorry there are no car park spaces available.

Do I need to pay a departure clean fee?

Yes - The cost to clean a room depends on the room and you will be invoiced individually for this clean.

If I wanted to break my lease, what are the costs associated with this?

Per the lease agreement, the tenant will be charged a reletting fee which equates to 2 weeks rent + GST by the remaining weeks to the end of the agreed term divided by 75% of the total agreed weeks, plus the departure clean and any remaining sundry charges and is required to pay rent until a replacement tenant has signed the lease.

What electricity cost am I responsible for?

Electricity is individually metered so the tenant is responsible for their electricity connection & consumption, except for Short Stay (4 - 11 weeks) contract in which the electricity connection & consumption is included in rent.

How much is the Internet / WIFI? Who is the provider and how much bandwidth do I have?

Unlimited Internet is available and included in your rental price!

Do I need a mattress protector?

Yes, these are charged at AU$30 per bed.

Do I need to organise my own Contents Insurance?

No this is included in student rent.Except for Short Stay contract  (4 - 11 weeks) in which Contents Insurance is not included in student rent.

Where can I find resources to manage my health and wellbeing?

What are your check-in times and days?

Student are welcome to check-in Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm.

What happens if I arrive outside of check-in times/days?

Accommodate recommend that you prearrange a hotel or alternative accommodation until you are able to check-in during check-in hours.

Can I request to check-in after hours?

Unfortunately, accommodate do not offer check-ins outside of specified check-in times.

I am going into shared accommodation do I need to complete a PCR Test?

Yes, PCR rules from SA Health advise that you must complete a PCR test within 24hr of arrival. In addition for the wellbeing of all of our residents, if you have booked in for shared accommodation you must show evidence of a negative PCR test result.
