How long can I live in this property?

The team believes in a renter’s ability to choose a long-term home and they are pleased to offer this option. After your initial tenancy term, you will be offered the option to extend. They encourage the residents to put their roots down and grow with them.

What sort of lease duration can I be offered?

They appreciate the need for flexibility in this changing world therefore they have created a variety of lease options to cater for the various needs of our residents. Our leases range between 3-24 months, however they will welcome and encourage you to extend your stay with them when your lease expires and will be happy to discuss your options with you when the time comes.

Can I have a pet?

Yes! We understand that our furry friends are part of the family. At management they welcome pets and have created a pet-friendly space with plenty of helpful services to help you care for your pet. To ensure each resident’s safety and comfort, they do ask that all pets are pre-approved through a free-of-charge pet application process and abide by our Pet Policy (available upon request).

What is included in the lease agreement? Do I need to pay for utilities?

Your agreement includes:
  • A modern apartment with premium fixtures and fittings.
  • Appliances – for your convenience all apartments include a dishwasher, cooktop, full size oven, fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dryer.
  • Access to modern facilities and amenities including gym, pool, private dining and entertainment areas, pet facilities and more. 
  • Access to exclusive resident services such as pet minding, cleaning, storage, plant watering and more.
  • A dedicated and responsive maintenance team.
  • A curated community calendar of events to help you form bonds with your neighbours.
Utilities are paid by the resident and metered separately, however the team will be able to assist you with connecting your utilities and in most cases offer an exclusive discount as well!

Is there an application fee?

No. they aim to make the application process as easy as possible.

Who is your ideal tenant?

Do I have to pay a Bond?

They do ask for a Bond of 4 weeks rent to be paid at the time of confirmation in line with Residential Tenancies Act requirements.

What payment methods do you accept for rental payments?

Their preferred payment method is automated payments direct from your bank through our Resident payment portal as we are a cashless property. The team will be happy to assist you in setting this up. Alternatively, you are welcome to deposit directly into our bank account.

Will the rent increase?

Rental rates will be assessed annually or upon your lease renewal, as is standard industry practise. Rent increases will be notified in advance and will be reasonable.

What if I need to end my lease early?

Please speak to the team who will work with you to assist you in the process of early termination. There are fees to terminate a lease early, which covers costs such as marketing, leasing and administration, as well as loss of rental income. They will never charge unnecessarily and will do our best to assist you and provide you with a transparent understanding of costs.

What amenities are included?

The properties are designed with the rental experience in mind. As such all properties boast the premium amenities, all of which are included in lease agreement. The properties are unique – for information on the amenities at Realm Kangaroo Point. Yes, you are welcome to invite your friends and host an event. In fact, the team are even able to help you plan it!

Can I make changes to the apartment?

Your home is your castle therefore they do allow minor aesthetic changes to be made to the apartment, such as installing shelving or painting a wall. Please notify the friendly onsite team if you wish to make changes and they will advise of the costs involved as your apartment will need to be returned to its original state if/when you decide to move out. The maintenance team will be able to help with the hanging of paintings and minor tweaks to your apartment.

What do I do if something needs to be fixed?

They have a dedicated maintenance team ready to assist you. You can log a maintenance request through the online resident portal, or by contacting one of the team.

What is the typical response time for maintenance requests?

This depends on the urgency of the maintenance request, however they will endeavour to have our maintenance team respond to all requests with an initial visit or call, within 48 hours on weekdays.

Must I be present in the apartment for a maintenance technician to attend to the issue?

You do not need to be present – our fully vetted and approved technicians will be able to attend to your issue even if you are not home.

What repairs am I responsible for?

As a resident, you are responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of your apartment, including keeping it reasonably maintained and clean. You are responsible for any repairs to appliances or items that have not been supplied by management. As an additional service offering, our team can assist you with your personal repair or maintenance needs (note, this may incur a fee depending on the task).

What type of heating / air-conditioning is in the apartment?

Each apartment benefits from individually controlled heating and cooling units to ensure your utmost comfort.

Are there parking options available?

Their locations benefits from underground secure parking for residents, as well as a dedicated covered visitor parking area. As part of the sustainability approach they have also included charging stations for electric vehicles. If they would prefer to get around on a bike, they have spaces for you to securely store this also.

Do you provide any additional storage?

The property offers residents the option to hire a secure onsite storage cage, located within the secure underground carpark (subject to availability at the time of booking)

Should I get contents insurance?

The property cannot take responsibility for your personal items therefore they strongly recommend organising contents insurance for peace of mind.

How will my deliveries be accepted?

A secure contact-less parcel locker solution allows couriers and Australia Post to securely leave your parcel and notify you by text that it is ready for you to collect.

Is the property secure?

The management has a secure access system for access to all communal areas, entrances, lifts and thoroughfares, as well as an intercom system and CCTV for added security.How can I connect with the onsite team?
