University of Wales Trinity Saint David


The history of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David traces back to the year-2010, as the university formed through the merger between the two oldest education institutions in Wales namely The University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College under Lampeter's Royal Charter of 1828, combining the long histories of both the institutions. The name of the university is a combination of Lampeter's original name i.e. Saint David's College and the name of Trinity University College.

The university has a campus in London and learning centres in Cardiff and Birmingham, as well. UWTSD was ranked 8th in the UK for the university of the year according to the results in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2019. UWTSD was awarded its highest ever student satisfaction score in 2018 and placed in 36th position in the UK  in The Times & Sunday Times rankings.
