Unilodge Royal Melbourne is a well-maintained student accommodation with friendly and helpful staff, modern amenities, and a convenient location near universities and public transport. The building offers a vibrant social experience with regular events and clean common areas. However, some rooms can get very hot in the summer due to lack of air conditioning.

Great accommodation especially for new students who want to make new friends! Although the building is 3 years old, it's still really clean and kept in very good condition. The location is good as well as it's right outside the tram stop and near the CBD. Will recommend students to stay here.

It really is worth it to live here, especially when you are a newcomer to Melbourne. It has been my 3rd month living here. The staffs and RAs are really nice. They have events going on every day. It helps me a lot in making new friends, relieving stress, and just hanging out after school. The room is comfortable with a modern-style studio, all bills are included, really worth the price. The management is really good.

Among the other UniLodges I've lived in so far, I've had a great experience with this one. For context I'll mention my worst experience: UniLodge Melbourne City — The staff almost never seemed to care, the lifts would almost always be out of maintenance (sometimes both lifts), and there would sometimes be false fire alarms happening on multiple consecutive days. My room got flooded and they haven't fixed it for more than 6 months (even as I left). Compared to that, this UniLodge is MUCH better. The staff has always been keen on trying their best to resolve your issues. When I asked for a maintenance request, the maintenance guy came within the first working hour of the next day. The people are far more welcoming here, and my room is really cosy to live in 😁 It's been a great experience so far!
