Once paid, your deposit is protected by a government-approved deposit protection scheme for the duration of your tenancy. Please note that this deposit cannot be used towards your rent instalments. 3. At the end of your tenancy, the deposit will be returned to you: subject to the terms of your contract, after a room inspection. Any deductions for damages or outstanding charges will be outlined in your tenancy agreement. Refunds can take up to 28 working days to process. 4. Your deposit is securely held by a recognised scheme, such as the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (England and Wales) or Safe Deposits Scotland. You’ll receive an email with your deposit repayment ID, which you’ll need to authorise your refund and provide your bank details. Please note: 1. All refunds are issued in GBP, and additional fees may apply if you're using a non-UK bank account. 2. Prestige Student Living cannot influence the deposit refund process. Please include your full name and student ID as the payment reference. Note that international transfers may incur additional charges from your bank, so please account for this when making payment. You will never be asked to make a payment to any bank account other than the official one provided by your property team. 2. Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.

Dual occupancy is available for most rooms that are 23sqm or larger. Both applicants must apply separately and clearly state in their applications that they are requesting dual occupancy. The total rent will be calculated as the standard room rate plus an additional £50 per week, then split evenly between both occupants, unless specified otherwise.
