Students whose visa application is refused before the tenancy commences may be eligible to cancel their booking, provided valid documentary evidence of the visa refusal is submitted. As the property requires a valid visa before confirming the tenancy, requests will be reviewed in accordance with the property's policy and supporting documentation.

Booking Deposit

A non-refundable booking deposit equivalent to 1 week's rent is required to secure the booking. 

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit equivalent to 3 weeks' rent is required before moving in.

Pay In Instalment

The property offers the following payment options: Full Payment – Pay the entire tenancy amount upfront. Termly Instalments – Rent can be paid in three instalments during the tenancy. Termly Due Dates: 30 September 31 January 30 April

Mode Of Payment

Rent payments must be made via Bank Transfer.

Guarantor Requirement

Students paying by instalments must provide a Local (UK-based) Guarantor. The guarantor must have a minimum annual income of at least 3.5 times the annual rent. Students who are unable to provide an eligible local guarantor may use an approved third-party guarantor service, such as Housing Hand, subject to the property's approval.

Do students have to pay council tax?

Any property occupied entirely by full time students will not be taxed by the Council provided the relevant form is completed.
