When should I book?

You should book well in advance to avoid disappointment. We do accept late bookings, however, this is based on availability which may be limited. Most accommodations have great offers which can be availed by early booking, we suggest booking your ideal accomodation as soon as possible!

Can I make group bookings?

Yes depending on the property type, we accept group bookings, Please contact us to discuss availability.

Does Amber charge any service fees?

Amber will help you book the property as per your requirements. No, we do not charge you for our services, unless specified others.

How do I cancel a booking?

You can cancel your booking before the contract begins as per the cancellation policies mentioned on our page. Do read through the properties cancellation policies, get in touch with us to know more.

Do we have on site parking?

No. However there are many car parks around us which are privately owned, or owned by the local council. Students may be able to get a parking permit for one of these if they contact the Council.

Does my room come with an oven?

No. Your room comes with a microwave, kettle and undercounter fridge/freezer. There are multiple ovens on the ground floor, along with hobs, for everyone's use.

When is reception available?

Reception is open Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays), from 10am-4pm. If reception needs to close for any reason, you will be updated, in writing, as soon as possible. There is an out of hours number given to all students when they arrive for any issues that occur when we are not here. We also have a security team that is available to call 24 hours a day. This number is also given to students on check in!

When can I use the gym?

The gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As it is on the ground floor, you will not be disturbing anyone regardless of the time you wish to use the equipment. We just ask that you sign a disclaimer, stating that you will use the equipment appropriately, before you do!

Is WiFi included in the rent?

All bills are included, including WiFi. You just need to sign up with an account with ask4 when you check in, and then we pay! The only thing we do not provide is a TV licence.

Is there a cleaner?

We have a cleaner on site 5 days a week. She cleans all the communal areas and the corridors of the accommodation. However, she does not clean your rooms, and she does not do your dishes! You are expected to do that yourselves! We have dishwashers in the kitchens, and 2 student vacuums for vacuuming your rooms, available at reception.

What about maintenance?

We have a maintenance man who comes once a week to fix any issues we have in the rooms or the building. If the issue cannot wait until his next visit, we have contractors who we can call to come out sooner.
