    Lancaster Student Accommodation

Getting student accommodation in Lancaster right is majorly important, as this will determine how happy you are with your university stay. The city is known for its world-class education system and a rising number of students attending Lancaster University. Hence, Lancaster provides a wide range of housing options, including en-suite rooms, shared apartments, studios, and private student flats. Located in the northwest of England, Lancaster is a student-friendly city, but at the same time, it has a rich history and a great spirit of student life. The rent in Lancaster for students staying in off-campus housing is the lowest among UK cities and goes for between £120 and £220 per week on average, meaning that many students will be able to afford a better standard of living.

Therefore, private student accommodation in Lancaster is a logical and good alternative for many students. Amber will make it really easy to discover properties with which your respective requirements and preferences will match. They also allow you to choose from different types of lease lengths, long-term or short-term and offer you booking assistance and support to ensure that you are able to secure your ideal student room Lancaster without any hassles. Amber offers premium properties by top PMGs such as Unite Students, Student Roost, and IQ Student Accommodation around Lancaster University.

Among the most appreciated social venues are The Sugarhouse (the student union's own nightclub), Kanteena, and The Borough. These places are where there are nights of DJ, live bands, and more, with student doors open and many discounts all the time. For a chill vibe, students have Williamson Park as their go-to place since here they can get the best view of the city and have a picnic or do solo study. The scenic River Lune and Lancaster Canal are absolutely great for a walk, cycling, or just sitting back and enjoying nature. The cultural calendar of Lancaster is always packed with great stuff all year long. Festivals like Lancaster Music Festival, Light Up Lancaster, and local food fairs not only bring the young crowd but also provide an opportunity to be part of the community.
