Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Deposits can be confusing and cause distrust between us and you. Were not a fan of this. So no, they don't take a damage deposit. they
do take a booking fee when you sign your contract. This then acts as part of your rent payment.

Can I pay in instalments?

Of course. Instalments are a great way of spreading the cost of your accommodation. they  offer an instalment plan in line with your student loan payments. they  dont increase the rent for this. But they do ask you provide a UK based guarantor who will agree to cover your rent if you are unable to.

What should I bring with me?

It's very easy to bring too much! Our advice is to start small, you can always add to it. Outside of your normal items like clothes, books, stationery, etc. You will also need bedding, and kitchenware (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.)they also suggest a couple of small padlocks so you can secure your kitchen cupboards. Struggling for space? they can supply bedding and kitchen packs for you at an additional cost.

What about post and parcels?

They keep this one simple too. Everything is delivered to our reception. From there, all parcels are logged and published on a list each day. You will just need to pop down to reception with a form of photo ID to collect your parcel. Any letters will be delivered to your door on the same day as they receive them.

What if something breaks?

Nothing lasts forever and accidents do happen. If something is past its best, just let us know at reception and one of our friendly maintenance team will attend to make repairs or replace. You'll only ever be charged for this if the damage is clearly through misuse.

Am I insured?

Every contract comes with contents insurance cover provided by Endsleigh. So make sure you check out what is covered.
