The property management team will collects a deposit primarily to secure your room and confirm your booking; it also serves as a security deposit. The deposit is held by the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), a government-backed scheme designed to protect tenants. 2. The deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay. 3. The property management team conducts a final inspection and sends a checkout report via email. The management team then informs the DPS to refund your deposit, minus any charges. The refund is transferred to your bank account, and you should receive an email within 28 days. The DPS may take up to 10 days to process the refund, especially for international transfers.
