Cooling Off Period

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day you sign this agreement. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform the property of your decision to cancel the contract by a clear statement sent to them by post or email.

The student needs to inform the property by filling out a relet form, if the visa has not been granted within 24 hours of refusal, and they can help the student find a replacement.

The student needs to inform the property by filling out a relet form, if he/she did not get a place in the university within 24 hours of the refusal, and they can help the student find a replacement.

Replacement Tenant Accepted

1. Once your cooling off period expires, you lose the right to cancel your tenancy. You are liable for the full rent unless a suitable replacement is found to take over your tenancy agreement.

2. Only when a suitable replacement has been found and they have completed their tenancy and paid any rent due, will you be released from your tenancy agreement.

Note: The student would need to pay a relet fee of £450.
