    1. The property needs a guarantor for every booking. 2. Your guarantor can be both UK based or international, however those with a UK based guarantor will have an option of paying in 4 instalments. Please note: International guarantor will be only accepted on a case to case basis.

    1. Payment in full. 2. Payment in 4 instalments. The due dates of instalments will be: 10% in August, 35% in Oct, 35% in Jan and 20% in April. 3. Without a UK guarantor, the student can pay in 2 instalments.

    For 25-26 AY & 26-27 AY:- Property Management offers dual occupancy on studio units. An additional fee of £10 per week will apply

    Security Deposit

    For 25-26 AY & 26-27 AY:- In order to book a room at property, you must sign a License Agreement and pay £300 Security deposit to secure the room booking. The £300 security deposit works as a damage deposit, and it will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy

    How long will it take for my maintenance issue to be Fixed?

    At Student Beehive, we have a dedicated team of maintenance staff. More urgent issues take priority and aim to be resolved within 48 hours. We aim to fix all problems within two weeks.

    There targets are created in line with Loughborough University's policy. Time begins when you report a problem to your manager.

    How do I report maintenance?

    What can I do if my neighbours are being too noisy after hours?

    If you feel like you can approach your neighbours then you do have the authority to do so. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, please call the warden.

    What do I do if the fire alarm goes off?

    If you hear the fire alarm go off you must leave your room straight away and go to the fire assembly point. (You will be notified of fire assembly points when you move in).

    Where can I store my bike?

    Bikes must be stored outside in the bike rack area.

    Where can I park my car?

    They share 5 car parking spaces which can be booked through your hall manager.

    Who is in charge of the cleaning?

    Across all sites there are cleaners for communal spaces like shared kitchens and living areas. However, it is down to you to keep your room and belongings clean and tidy.

    It is not the cleaners job to remove bin bags, please ensure you keep your room and kitchen area free from rubbish at all times. Some en-suite flats have bin rotas based on room number. Please check if there is a bin rota in your kitchen.

    How fast will the WiFi be?

    WiFi is always free at Student Beehive. The Fibre speed is up to 350 mps. Speeds will vary at each property; check your contract or speak with your manager for further information.

    Can I have friends/family to stay overnight?

    You are responsible for any guests staying with you and are liable if they cause any problems. But of course, friends and family are always welcome at Beehive.

    Can I smoke in my room?

    All of there properties are completely non-smoking inside. Smoking inside could affect your Security Deposit. Some sites may have designated smoking areas outside areas which have ashtrays provided.

    My room is not like the website - I want to move. Can I do this?

    All of there rooms are unique; no room is exactly the same. If you are unhappy with your room, please speak to your hall manager. If there are other rooms available, we may be able to offer them as an alternative. However, we are often fully booked, so changing rooms will get increasingly difficult the closer you are to the move-in date.

    I am locked out of my room/my key doesn't work. Who do I call to get back in?

    If it happens during normal working hours, you can ask in person at the office. If the office is not open call the warden.

    Why are my windows restricted?

    Your window may have a restricting device that limits how far it opens. It is there for your safety, so it's important that it is not disconnected or damaged. If the window fittings become damaged, please notify maintenance immediately.

    What are the reception hours of the property?

    There offices are located in Forest Court, Kingfisher, The Student Block, Carlton Building, Renaissance House, and Salisbury Road.

    Offices operate between 9am-5pm, but some are not open every day. Message or email to double check if an office is open.

    Who is my hall manager?

    Each site has a dedicated hall manager. You can find out your hall manager's name by going in person to reception or here. The manager may not always be in your building as they may manage several properties.

    Can I Bring My Pet To Live With Me?

    They do not allow any pets at Beehive. We are not built to take animals and it's not fair to them. Please leave your pets at home, they will look forward to seeing you when you return!

    Bedding and personal items are not included in your accommodation, but you can easily avoid the hassle of shopping by pre-ordering everything from our friends at UniKitOut.     How we hold your deposit

    All students are required to pay a £300 deposit when booking their room. This Security Deposit covers breakages in your room and damage to our property. If you have not caused any damage and your room is clean and empty when you leave, we will return the deposit back to you. For full details of what we charge, please see the damage charge list.

    We use a scheme called the Mydeposit scheme. This acts as an independent body to protect tenants and ensure fair treatment in the event we need to keep your deposit.
