Curry College Athletics

Curry Athletics offers a strong range of opportunities for students to participate in sports at various levels. The college fields 19 NCAA Division III varsity teams, including Curry football, baseball, men’s and women’s ice hockey, cross country, lacrosse, volleyball, and soccer. With such a wide selection, there’s always an event to be part of—whether as a player or a fan.

For those interested in staying active outside varsity athletics, Curry also supports a variety of club sports such as dance, rugby, and karate, along with intramural leagues and tournaments open to all students.

Curry football has a proud tradition on campus. Since the program began in 1959, the Colonels have claimed seven conference titles, six division championships, and six NCAA Division III playoff appearances, making it a cornerstone of Curry’s athletic identity.

Both Curry men’s basketball and Curry women’s basketball teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. Their competitive winter seasons help build school spirit and foster a strong sense of community across campus.
