What room types can I choose from?

You can choose from one of their 3, 4 or 5 bed shared co-living apartments, a studio or one bed apartment.

What’s the difference between room types?

A shared apartment allows you to connect and collaborate with flatmates. Their shared apartments feature shared kitchen, dining area and lounge. Whereas their studio and one-bedroom apartments are for individuals who prefer to have their own living space.

What’s included in the rental fee?

Fully furnished apartment, utility bills, super-fast WIFI and access to fantastic shared amenities and services.

What appliances are included?

All apartments come equipped with a kettle and toaster. All shared co-living apartments have a dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge freezer. Studio rooms have a combined microwave oven and fridge freezer.

How long can I rent an apartment for?

Their tenancy terms are for 12 months.

Do I have my own bathroom?

Yes, all rooms have their own ensuite.

Are televisions included in my apartment?

All shared apartments have a large smart TV in the lounge / living area. All studio rooms and one-bedroom apartments also have a smart TV. Please note you are required to have a television license and this is not provided within your rental fee.

Are washing machines available in the apartments?

There is a large laundry room with washing machines and dryers available to all residents 24/7.

Do you take apartment group bookings?

Yes, they have 3-5 bedroom apartments that are perfect for arriving as a group and living with friends.

What happens if a flatmate leaves?

They have individual tenancy agreements so if someone leaves it’s not your responsibility to find a new flatmate.

Do you offer dual occupancy in your studio and one bed apartments?

Yes, they offer dual occupancy in their gold and platinum studios, as well as their one bedroom apartments. There is an additional 25% charge for this.

How soon can I move in?

They will be opening from September 2024.

Is it okay to have guests staying over?

Yes, you can have guests staying over occasionally, but they cannot become permanent residents.

Is there 24/7 assistance for residents?

Yes they have a dedicated team onsite 24/7

Do you have parking spaces available?

No, but there are car parks located nearby where you can negotiate preferable contract terms

How will I report maintenance issues?

They have a maintenance team to support any issues you incur whilst living with us. Simply, log your issue via their dedicated online resident portal and a member of the team will resolve your problem.

Are pets allowed?

They do not allow pets at Square Gardens

How does parcel delivery work?

They have a dedicated parcel room where all deliveries will be placed. They will provide residents with access to their parcel app. This parcel app notifies you as soon as parcels are available for collection from the parcel room.

How do I work out how something works in my apartment?

You will be provided with a manual detailing how to use all appliances and equipment in your room. In addition, their team will support any queries directly with you.

How do I pay my rent?

There are various payment options available and you can pay in full or monthly or termly instalments.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, there is a £200 deposit.

When will I receive my security deposit back?

Your deposit will be held by a third party, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and will be refunded by them at the end of your tenancy subject to all terms of your tenancy agreement being met.

What’s the referencing process and how long does it take?

They may require references from previous landlords or employers and all government right to rent checks may be required.

Do I need a guarantor?

A UK based Guarantor, or a Guarantee Company is required if you are paying rent by monthly instalments. A Guarantor is not required if you are paying the full rental amount for the duration of your tenancy agreement.

How do I book a viewing?

Simply, visit the book a viewing section of their website and select a date and time that works best for you. You can visit us at their show flat or you can book a virtual tour. 

Will you need to access my apartment?

There will be occasions where they need to access your apartment as part of their statutory maintenance and assessment checks. They will notify you in advance when access is required.
