No, subletting your room is not allowed. If you do wish to leave your contract early you will need to find a replacement tenant, and provide them with their details so that they can release you from your contract and create a new tenancy agreement for them.

If you are the student who will be living with them you are the tenant. Your guarantor is a person over the age of 25 that agrees to be responsible for paying any amount you owe to property in the event that you (the tenant) do not. If incorrect guarantor information is provided, it could become a legal matter and mean that your contract is not valid.
