Douper Hall is perfectly situated in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham, very close to the University, local shops, bars, restaurants and train station. Douper Hall consists of three blocks. All bedrooms have a bed, office space and their own en-suite bathroom.


Group flats are available for 4, 5 and 6 students to share and are in high demand, book now! The modern and spacious shared facilities include communal area kitchens plus a large laundry area. The external perimeter of the complex is covered 24 hours a day by security cameras, whilst the front gates and main doors are all key fob controlled.


The premises also offers bike locking facilities and car parking is available as an optional extra (reservation required). Rental prices are inclusive of the following bills: electric, water and internet.

Booking Details

Cancellation Policy:-

Should the Tenant be able to legally prove they cannot take up their course of study or travel to the Douper Hall site due to the Covid-19 pandemic this agreement may be ended by the Tenant giving at least 2 months' notice in writing, the tenancy will expire after 2 months following receipt of written notice from the Tenant.


Any notice under this clause shall:


1.be in writing.


2.marked to the attention of The Manager.


3.be deemed to be received when sent to a partys registered office by:


.first class prepaid post, 3 days after it is posted or international equivalent, 7 days after it is posted.


by courier or by hand delivery, upon delivery if delivered before 4.00pm on any business day, and the next business day if delivered after 4.00pm. Written notice should be provided.

Pay tenancy deposit of GBP 250 to secure your booking.


Rent Payment:-

The first rent payment will be taken on the 10th July 2021

Are pets allowed?

No.
 

Can I choose my room?

Applicants will be asked to confirm any preferences they may have, they will then allocate a room that meets, or is as close a match as possible, to any preferences.
 

Can I choose who I live with?

If applicants book as a group or with others,  they will ensure that they are allocated rooms together. Where possible they will work to meet any requests applicants have in regards to room allocation.
 

Can I move in early?

This will depend on when the allocated room becomes available. If this is required,  they would encourage the applicant/ tenant to contact us where  they will confirm whether there is the option to move in
 

Can I request to move rooms during my tenancy?

Tenants can put in a request to move rooms during their tenancy, where possible  they will facilitate this, however  they cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
 

Does the Reservation fee or Deposit Fee guarantee me a room?

 they do not accept reservation or deposit fees, they request a tenancy deposit of 250.00, which will be protected throughout the tenancy with Mydeposits and is refunded at the end of the tenancy, following the outcome of a final inspection of the room and communal space. The room is guaranteed once the tenancy agreement is countersigned.
 

What if something breaks?

Tenants can report any maintenance issue to us and  they will arrange for repair, this is at no cost to the tenant. In any instance of wilful damage, those tenants responsible will be charged.
 

What documents are required for booking a room?

 they will request that the applicant provides right to rent documentation and proof of study.
